Azimuth is an ATC Upper Airspace Simulator developed by a Portuguese startup - AIRTC.
The simulator main purpose is to allow anyone to perform RADAR air traffic control in solo mode i.e. without the need for a heavier simulator platform and the assistance of other human roles as coordinator controller, pilots or adjacent planner controllers. The design was inspired by the future of flight control using artificial intelligence and this is why AI is subtly present in the word Azimuth in the form of Morse code, still used today in air navigation charts. The diagram represents the Artificial Neural Networks inspired by the architecture of neurons in the human brain.
